Incorporated in 1986, AFA is a non-profit 501(c)(3)
organization dedicated to the welfare of animals. With "The Wilds," an 80 acre wildlife habitat, "The Farm," a horse
rehabilitation and adoption center, active participation in legislation, policy
and shelter standards, low-cost spay/neuter referral program and the nationally
recognized Mobile Animal Surgical Hospital which has performed over 70,000
sterilizations, AFA helps animals and people through its volunteers and by
networking with small grassroots groups throughout Arkansas.
In the Fall of 2011, AFA opened it's first full-time, stationary low-cost spay/neuter clinic, Operation SAVE (Sterilization and Vaccination Effort) in Little Rock! For more information on this clinic and the MASH, visit those pages...
