our organization was established in 1986 for the protection of animals. As the
only state-wide animal welfare organization in Arkansas, Arkansans for Animals,
Inc. (AFA), works with municipal, county, state and local humane societies to
provide better care for our animals: whether through law and legislation,
disaster planning, minimum standards for shelters or our groundbreaking low-cost
mobile spay/neuter clinic.
